My honey and I took a lovely drive to Irish Vale. To get there you must drive through some other nice communities like Sydney Forks, East Bay, Ben Eoin, Big Pond and a couple of other places as well. It was a little chilly so I didn't venture outside the car for many shots & what pictures I did take were taken from inside the car with the window down. Then we headed for the Joan Harris Cruise Pavillion so I could get some shots of the world's largest Illuminated fiddle. This fiddle is an amazing 55ft high and weighs 10 tonnes. Wow!!! I hope to get many nice photos this summer of the cruise ships entering and leaving the port. I thought it was cold in Irish Vale, nowhere near as cold as down on that wharf. I did get out of the car to some shots and my hands nearly froze. *LOL* Anyway, after that we headed back to North Sydney to grab a bite to eat before heading home. It was a very enjoyable day and one I hope to do again soon when everything is in full bloom and there's color again. You can click on the thumbnails below to see each picture enlarged somewhat. I've also made a slideshow for those of you who would rather see the pictures much faster. The quality of the photos in the slideshow aren't as good as the photos themselves but if there's anything you see there that you like you can always scroll back up and click on the thumbnail to that picture.
